DV/BOV questions.

Ok. I'm a noob. I admit it. I know how BOV/DVs work, mechanically. I do not know how they are packaged and sold, however, so this is pretty much where I need help.
I'm interested in a recirculating valve. I'm also aware that many of these require a special flange to work, as they are universal kits. Does this flange go on the valve itself, so that it can be used directly on your car? Or does the flange only go on an upper IC pipe, which I'd have to purchase in addition to the valve? Or does it go both ways?

Are there direct replacements, that don't require modification to be put in place? If so, who makes them?

Any help clearing this stuff up for me would be greatly appreciated?

The TurboXS H34 valve is a great replacement. If you get it from Lancershop it comes with everything you need. The sound and boost response/increase is also improved. Very good valve.

Does this bov fit perfectly? Do you need any type of adapter?

It fits perfectly...the only thing I did was trim the rubber hose a little bit to make it so it was bunched up. This BOV is about an inch longer, but other than that it is perfect. I will snap a few pictures for you.

I do happen to be using a dejontool intake pipe which I wasn't using when I first got this BOV. It will fit great with the stock intake pipe.
