I seriously hope that the opinions expressed in this thread are not representative of the majority of the people on this board.
I'm not going to talk about police or 9/11 much, because it's obviously lost on a few of you. Such indignance and disrespect towards the heros and victums of the 9/11 attacks. Of course we live in a free country (as I'm sure you will be soon to point out) and you have a right to say what you will, but said few people only make themselves look like fking morons by doing so.
It's not even nessisary to point out quotes of some of the things posting in this thread that are poor representing this community as a whole. Comments questioning the bravery of those lost when the towers collapsed, and the dedication of those in the law enforcement field are out of line posted in the Evo General forum.
People's reviews of their experiences with police officers, re-told in a adolecent fashion with regard to how unreasonable the cop was, this and that about how unfairly you were ticketed for what-the-fk-ever are always followed with "Fk the police man, they're like, tax collectors, they like, enforce a police state, they like took my teddy bear"

You make me absolutly sick. I can't understand why people don't get it, and they obviously don't. Laws need to apply to other people, not themselves. They're glad no one steals their ******* Evos, but pissed about a $20 ticket. WTF is wrong with you people. People lacking the whole picture I'd assume.
This whole thread is littered with "I'm not some punk kid, I'm a middle-aged upstanding person, and I still hate cops those dkheads!" Then act like it. Grow up. I'm 20 years old, I'm not upstanding at all, I speed at like 25 over the limit, and have a general disregard for authority, until I get caught. People like doing whatever they like to do, and what they like more is getting away with it. I'm an ashole to most people I associate with (as you can see it coming out here) and have never been anything but respectful to police officers.
If a police officer would lay his life down for mine, because that's what he's sworn to do, then I don't give a sht how many tickets he writes me. If you don't think that police here would do that, move to France you ****, and get the fk out of my wonderfull country. If this is the way you think you should treat public safety in this country then fk you. And if this is the way that this board thinks, fk this board. If you're on this board and you don't agree with what seems to be the general gist of this thread, then speak up now.
I'm fairly new here, and it's a pretty nice place, and I've said repeatedly that this board really says a lot of about the positive community behind the Lancer Evolution, but if this is the kind of bullsht that is going to be found in the "Evo General" forum, count me the fk out.
