Installed APS BOV

Just wanted to share with everyone my 1st impression with the install of the APS BOV. 1st and foremost, I want to thank Ben at RallySport Direct for his great service, follow-up and prices. www.rallysportdirect.com

This was a straight forward install, tools used were 10mm socket and a pair of pliers. I did not have to make any sort of adj. on the BOV, installed and went for a drive. No idle problems, no surging at low or high RPM's. The external noise is not annoying in anyway. I will follow-up with a long term impression regarding this unit.

Yes it is considered a dual stage. It is not 50/50 like most dual vent valves This one actually adjust itself depending on how much boost you are running at the time. Like if you are half throttle and let off. It will let most back into the intake track for driveability but if you are WOT at full boost it will let more VTA. It is really a great design. This is the only valve we run on our shop cars.

Let me know if you have any questions about this valve thanks.

Here ya go. We will have a new clip of one with a open intake. The open intake really makes it sound mean.

Does it uninstall just as easy as it installs? In other words, if I was concerned about warranty issues, could I easily switch back to the stocker with no trouble and no side effects?

Also, can you provide a link to the valve on your site? I couldn't find the BOV section.

That is with a closed intake. We will have a new one with a open intake soon.

We actually have just sold out of the valves. We sell them for 210 a piece and have more on the way.
