05 evo viii has rev limiter and i think it is only effective till your clutch is more than an inch of tha floor, i launched tonight and felt that it had a lot of pull after tha clutch was out just far enough, it may build a little bit of boost as well. late

ps got to stoked and burned tha clutch a bit

So does all this mean that if you disable the appropriate switch you can launch higher than 5K from a dead stop? Or have people figured out another way to bypass it. It would be even cooler if someone came out with a way to bump the 5K to say like 6k by making it adjustable. It'd be like the old days of TMO launch mod in the DSM's.
