Angry Guys im sorry but I need to VENT!!!!

I just walked in the door from my 10 day vacation in Florida which went GREAT. Well anyways before I left I gave a Mitsu. dealer my car for some warranty work anti lock brakes always come on when ever I would hit the brake and 5th gear grind. Well I called a couple times to check on my car I told them I always wanted it parked inside ect. as I have alot of work done to this car and they have had cars broekn into in the past. Well on my 8th day of vaca. I call and nothing has been done to the car yet and they are waiting for a rep to call on my warranty for 5th gear no biggie but now we are at 10 days and not one thing has been done to my car. Well I get home today and get a phone call from a good friend of mine and he is like your not going to like what I tell you. Now mind you I just walked in the door from vaca. he goes to tell me he was at a party this weekend and some kid was bragging how his local dealership has a hooked up red evo and how they took it out and were beating the **** out of it. Then some other kid at the party says hey you might want to be careful what you say around here people here are friends with the owner. So my friend who over heard everything was kind of pissed as he couldnt here more as the kid shut up right after that was said. Well I am off to the dealer tomorrow morning with the mileage slip i wrote out before I left in case something like this happened in hand. Time to raise Hell!!!!!!

HAHA, dude, that's craziness......i so wanna hear what happens! Can u videotape as u rip them a new one (that is, if that was your car they were talking about). I really hate all the beauracratic BS with warranties.....all they freakin care about is getting paid, not to make the customer happy. Oh well, good luck bro and hopefully they didn't mess with ur baby!

Damn dude!!! I'm sorry but that sounds like a nightmare. I know a couple of guys who work in dealerships and they only get to drive the cars come in for work and not the ones on the lot, so i'm not surprised.

good luck.

first, the obvious...are you sure your friend wasn't pulling your chain?

second, that freaking sucks...make sure to raise hell, be very angry while you're there but in a controlled way...make sure they take you seriously and you're assertive and won't take thier BS...bring your friend to see if you can ID the kid at the party

i would demand some type of compensation

Just go in there real cool and ask to have the key u have to get something. U see the Mileage then RAISE hell if you have to. I do know that some people are able to get a hold of the key. I had a friend tha worked for audi and was able to take any car in service home if he wanted to.

No he is not pulling my chain trust me thats first thing that came to my mind but he is telling the truth. I have already made a few contacts and found out the kids anme who was in the car when it was beat on he is from the Detailing Department go figure why dont our dealers let Finance take our cars for joyrides too. I am not going to say the dealership or any names until I can get more information and validate mileage. Im just wandering how I should approach them in the morning. Should I be like I have heard from numerous sources my car has been beaten on and I would like to check the mileage? I think that would be best way to approach. IDK this sux

That's exactly how you should approach this matter.

When I first bought my car i got it when it first came out. Of course they had to deliver it to the dealer. The car had 5 miles and apprently they were for calibration, etc. Well when I drove home my clutch dropped on me not even 30 minutes after purchasing the car. Come to fine out, one of the representatives took my car for a drive and burnt to clutch out. He confesed to the deal and was eventually let go. They replaced my clutch but gave me a bunch of sh** telling me that this would be my last clutch regradless if it is my fault or not. This was almost 3 years ago and now that dealership is now closed. Funny how things come back to bite you

And anytime you take any car to a dealership take down your mileage or even take a digital photo of the odometer.
