ipod link to infinity system
I have my mp3 player plugged into my stock head unit with a little device from audiovox. You can find it locally at electronic stores, but ebay and other online stores sell them for less http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-AUDIOVOX-FMM...QQcmdZViewItem . The sound is amazing, install is simple, it works with anything that has a standard headphone jack, and you don't need any additional parts. You take out your deck, plug the antenna plug into the audiovox box, plug it's plug into the antenna port on your deck, give the little box power, and you're done.
The best part is that there is a switch that controls whether the device is on or not. When it's on, it basically shuts out the radio reception so you get ZERO static from FM channels. (I love this since I travel a lot and I don't ever have to change the fm channel to get a good signal.) When it's off, I get perfect FM and AM reception.

I know circuit city used to carry them, but most local stores will charge you around $50 for it. I actually purchased mine on eBay. The guy had a lot of positive feedback and everything arrrived new/sealed.... I am defintely not the seller of the auction I listed though. In fact, search ebay for ' fmm100 ' or ' fmm100a ' and you'll see a ton of them at buy it now prices lower than 50 + tax. I have yet to see a better device that also keeps your cost down (and my friends and I have tried a lot of these gizmos because we all love music & cars).
If anyone gets this and wants to know a nice, easy access, fairly hidden spot for the switch, PM me.
