We chose to stay with the stock battery due to all the electronics that we will be running. Also, the car will not be driven ALLL the time, so we don't want the battery to die, which does happen with a smaller/lighter one. We may elect to swap out to a smaller one during track events just for those particular events, but we'll prob run the stock one for street driving.

There you have it guys. The car is almost done. Right now we are just waiting to get the harness back from HKS and the tuning begins. We will tune on race gas then on the crappy pump 91 junk that we have here in California. Let me know if you guys have any questions!

Doesnt the EVO IX come with some "carbon fiber" in the interior around the clock and etc...i noticed this one doesnt have it?? removed??

Does it have a self adjusting exhaust cam gear ? I dont remeber it being like that when I took an '03 motor apart.

Do you guys a dyno sheet yet on this set up ? i have a IX with a Pruven Performance stroker kit with similar set up would like to see what you guys pulled out.

03 is different than 06? I knew that MIVEC lettering on the valve cover stood for something.

who is poor lost fool? I hope its not me, I was just telling him that the MIVEC controld the intake side not exhaust, thats all, and that it comes only on the 06.
