Gas Leaking from gas tank drain plug... any solution?

I have 03 evo and I get small amount of gas leak from gas tank drain plug. Its so little thats its almost smearing... so It is not like gas is dropping from the tank..
I went to dealer to fix this and all they did was replacing the washer of that drain plug. It was fine for couple of weeks but it is staring to smear gas around the plug again and I can smell it when I touch it with my finger...I can take it to dealer again but they probably wont replace the whole tank and I dont want them to take forever to work on my car..or just replace the plug and washer again..
Is there any sealer I can use for this kind of situation?
Any help would be appreciated..

get another seal, and put some black rtv around the washer.. if it still leaks, clean the rtv off, and take it back to the dealer... tell them to fix it... its a safety hazard..

Remember the important part of dafarmers post, It is a safety hazard. I would just take it back again and again if it aint fixed. Then seek legal action. I got no respect for those who have no respect for my $30K car or my life!!!

commonly available RTV is not resistant to gasoline, so don't bother with the RTV; just bring it back to the dealer.

I dont know about dealers in your area but when it comes to "safety" they should give you a rental,,,at no charge if you still have warranty

Chevy,VW,Mitsu and honda have done it for me before
