Yup i think thats what happend. , like i said its my first Evo and he told me the boost wasnt going to change and go up and it wasnt like i was going 160 MPH.
Guess it was my bad luck that i wasn't informed of this situation until it was too late.
But lucky i still have My trusty M3.

i feel like there's some missing info here...if your dealer swapped out the ECU then I don't really understand how Al or Pruven is responsible here, esp with the minor mods that you're running....well i hope everything works out for you!

Again, 360whp on just an intake and flash is about 55 - 60whp too much. I'd be interested in what how much boost you were running and what your AFR was. There's no way your engine should have let go at that whp level assuming a good tune. But again, you were about 60whp stronger than you should have been given the mods you stated...

I'm not saying it his fault but the reason of the change was that the program messed up the ECU beond repair so it had to be swapped out. should of been informed, i mean if im taking my car to your shop and dropping money you should let me know. (he sent me to his guy at the dealer to check my car which they said they couldnt touch it.)
As long as they come through with my car i have no problem i trust they will make good with me im not doubting it.
I should of left it stock if i really knew this was gonna happend so quick.

What octane fuel were you running when you made 360whp?

waits for Al or Dan to chime in with a more "technical elaboration" about the situation.
