A few days leter he goes to ANOTHER shop to get a full turbo back exhuast added - he is doing hole shots in front of the shop on the two step and the car is not running right

Somehow the ecu coil driver went bad and he is down 2 cyls

I arranged to have a new ecu put in under warranty - I am not responsible - but wanted to do the right thing by the customer as the Ecutek IX flash is a new product

Customer was told - bring car ASAP with warranty paperwork to recieve a new ECTUTEK license and a retune on the dyno for the new exhasust - FREE of charge

Customer did not come back

ONE week later - get a cal from customer - he finaly installed the boost gauge and he is hitting 25 psi of boost and fuel cut

TURN DOWN YOUR BOOST - you NEED A RETUNE - your car is NOT TUNED

"Which way do I turn it AL ?"

DOWN - follow the arrorow - counter clockwise - 19 psi of boost till you get tuned

Three days later - another call - my heat does not work

I diagnosed it as a blown head gasket

DONT DRIVE IT - check the coolant level in the radiator - call me back immeditaley

NO RETURN CALL

Al,
Its sounds like this guy had no respect for his car and was asking for the motor to blow. I say he definatly deserved what happend!

Good job Al. Good job Pruven. Sorry to be such a doubter. But my point about the 360 is what had a lot of us questioning your tune.

Two thumbs up to Warrtalon for his help on this as well.

Finally, Dan @ Pruven: my advice is to offer this guy a free tow to some other shop. He was really hanging you out to dry in this thread. Show him the door!
