stock cat-back removal & 3inch catback install questions

i've searched but couldn't find any answers. Does it matter if i remove the stock cat-back as one peice, or does it have to be done one section at a time?

Also, When installing a 3inch cat-back does it matter if i install the mid pipe first, then the muffler section? or is it better to install it as one unit? Thanks

It depends I guess. I had a friend help me so it was easier and faster to remove the whole stock cat-back. Just unbolt from cat, unbolt the 2 bolts on the left rear hanger and the pull off the other two hangers. Same thing with the after market cat-back although I didn't fully tighten the midpipe to muffler section so it'll have some play and give you a chance to align everything properly first.

You can do the whole thing at once, I actually think its easier. Start from the cat and move back to undo the muffler.

It doesn't matter which way you do it. Do it however you think it is easier.

I removed mine as one piece, by myself. I jacked up the car from the front and unbolted everything.

Do know that the muffler is a big ***** to get off the mount.

Oh and about installation: I did it by bolting the DP in first, then working my way back. I used 3 sets of jackstands to hold everything up.

And a couple times, the wife had to hold things into posistion but nothing to diffcult.
