Anyone have a MBC inside the car?
I would like to see some pics of anyones in car MBC, thanks....
i just ordered a forge UNOS and it says it can be used in the cabin, and i have heard of people doing this with no spiking or any other problems. All comments welcomed...

The Forge says it can be used in cockpit? I hadn't seen or heard of that before. The Hallman Pro RX is designed for in-cockpit use, but the Forge UNOS isn't. You can probably rig up a long hose or something, but it's not made for that. Mike from Forge also said they had no plans to make an in-cockpit version since Hallman had already done it and pioneered the idea.
The Forge UNOS boost controller is CNC machined to aircraft specifications and incorporates a ratchet type top adjuster that will allow for the positive and precise adjustment that your driving style demands. The controller can be dash or engine bay mounted to suit your preference. This product is a universal component, and as such, no vehicle-specific fitting instructions can be provided. This product is designed and built with the intent of increasing the boost output of any forced induction system. We cannot guarantee compatibility with all applications, nor the ability to increase the boost output beyond a level that is within the parameters set by the engine-management-system of the given vehicle at the time of installation, whether that system is factory or aftermarket.

Isn't there a problem with having the MBC connected to hoses that long? I remember my Hallman manual saying the lines need to be kept as short as possible. Mine is mounted to the top radiator bolt just under the OEM "intake"... I didn't have enough line to put it anywhere else...
I have the Hallman Pro RX. It doesn't run hoses into the cockpit (no need to worry about boost control with long hoses). It has a flexible cable that basically just relocates the adjustment knob to inside the cockpit, much like the throttle cable links to the gas peddle. You do have to make a firewall penetration for the cable though.

I had the Hallman with the in cockpit adjustibility but I didn't like having the adjustment knob in the car. I would always turn the boost up a little or down a little, just messing around with it. That plus having that cable attached limits the number of places you can place the knob. I got a new one that is under the hood now. I like it much better, Just set it were it needs to be and leave it.

It seems too dangerous to turn up the boost THAT easily, I think the set-it-and-forget-it mentality is best.

The only time I have ever had to adjust mine was after puttingon mods...such as my intercooler. I think its pretty much a waste to have it in the cabin of the vehicle with you. To each his own though.
