The headunit won't eject my cd

I have the Pioneer deck: DEH-P8650MP which has a motorized cd eject thing. It has been working fine the past 3 months and now today I press the button to eject the cd and the butoon beeps but the cd doesn't eject, no motor sound nothing. I pressed the factory reset button and nothing happens. Anyone know what I should do. I bought the unit brand new. I expected to at least use this a year without any problems!

I dont know that an EVO general forum is gonna provide much help into a CD not ejecting from your aftermarket head unit but did it come with a warranty?

Send to pioneer of an authorized dealer and have it repaired.

FWIW, one of my Nakamichi HUs sometimes does the same thing. If I CD fails to eject, I turn it off for a half hour or so and then it ejects the disc.

pull the radio out and unplug the harness this will usually work, used to have to do that to some stuborn radios when i was an installer before i went into the military, this resets the whole unit.

If it is less then a year old, I would take it to the place I bought it and ask them to exchange it or send it in to the manufacturer for repairs or replacement. Hope you held on to your receipt!

Remove HU from car. Smash with rock. Pry top off. Remove CD.

Or
Take it in for warranty.
