Honeycomb in MAF missing ? Power loss ?

I just got done putting on my 20g IX turbo what a b itch by the way! Noticed when i was putting everything back together the honeycomb was missing in the MAF. Tried to use my old MAF honeycomb but its so bent up it cant be fixed. You think this is a big power loss ? Making it run bad ?

the honeycomb acts as a "turbulance arrestor" on the karman vortex MAF......

how does the car feel driving around w/o it?

I think it will do more than help. I am surprised you dont have drivability issues. What happened to your MAF? Did something hit it?

Does anyone know if mitsu sells the honeycomb by itself or do you have to buy a whole new MAF ?

There should be tons of MAFS for sale on here...or you could just post in the "For Sale" section saying that you need one.
