I'm with you there. My Evo or Vette will ever see salt/winter.

We have to talk more about those TT and XS.

I'll pm you in the next couple of days ok

Exactly. The car is not practical in certain uses. But the evo is practical in all uses. Hell the whole predication of the evo is rally. The car wasnt even meant to do drag. But it does and it does it very well.

For a resonable amount, my friend got his Evo IX to 11.7 on 93 and 11.5 on 100 oct (clutch,TBE,intk,MBC, 255 walbro, & tune).
For a few thousand invested in a good set of coilovers & rear sway bar installed by Robi of ROBISPEC, coupled with a upgraded brakes & track tires, a good driver could put a serious whooping on a modded ZO6.
ZO6 is a great car, but for 78K, thats a chunk of change!

an Evo running 11.5 is trapping nowhere near 125...keep in mind the Evo's attain great ET's with its awd launch.

this still makes the c6z a faster car on the straights... plus the Z can probably exit a corner just as hard as an Evo given its fatass rear tires. what i'm trying to say is given equal drivers it'd take more for an Evo to beat a c6z around a track on dry roads IMHO.

btw Ranger just ran a f***ing 10.8@129mph in a bone stock c6z on DR's....piece of sh*t

Ha! That's funny, because the closest car that can match/ beat it in all the performance tests is what, over $200k...?

Yeh 10's bone stock. Wow! Good driver and now that he has reached his goal he is going to start adding bolt on's. I keep watching his progress and have had a talk with him on line. Nice guy and he shares all that he has learned about how to get the most out of the Z with everyone.

Obviously you havent used nitrous.

I've used nitrous on my evo 7 motor for over a year on the stock engine. Not even headstuds. Just an safc and that was it.
high 11's everytime at the strip.

never damaged the motor. after a year I decided to go with the GT35R and thats when I said I might as well do the rebuild.
Pulled apart the engine and everything looked fine inside.

HAHA you are way off. Production car for production car the atom has got it beat by far in all aspects. And its cheaper than the c6z. My friends dad just purchased one(the last honda engine they are making) and it costed him around 56k and thats with extras. Granted the car is not practical in most uses, but the notion had nothing to do with practicality just performance.
