Whatever the ticket is street racing, you need to get a good attorney, said and done. No matter the speed or arguement, or opinions here. You got the ticket and you gotta battle that shiiiite in court or take the charge.

Dem Z: I wish it had happened in your area too Are you at McMaster or Western?

Anyway it happened from Hwy 7 and 404 and we got pulled over on the 401 west entrance off the 404

Thanks again for the support guys. I'm confident I'll win, but now I'm just really sad to know that the job I have right now will basically be going to pay lawyer fees for the rest of the year (and car payments). I wanted to see my girlfriend in Japan and now I'm not going to be able to. I wish cops knew how badly they can screw people's lives up...

Their laws are so ridiculous that if you live in another state, the local government will pay it for you. Consider yourself lucky, but sorry about the car.
I didn't know they are illegal in Canda??? That is messed up that they will take your car and crush the it; I honestly would not even stand for that if that would happen to me in Canda.

Just wondering, I saw on here that someone said that the Evo is illegal in VA???

something like this happened to me where someone wouldnt let me get ahead of them and i had to turn off the freeway but they wouldnt let me get around them because they wanted me to floor it or something so i gunned it to get past them for my exit and both of us get pulled over and the cop accuses us of street racing just because the other kid was in a modded audi and i was in an evo. the cop didnt clock us going fast though so we just got warnings

Nope, that's absurd. If the car can be sold in the US market, then it's legal in every state. The only way it would be illegal is if you used illegal parts, or took out parts that keep emission levels stable.

I don't want to start anything, but you were the one who was speeding. Why would you blame the cops for doing their job. It was your choice to gun it after the light and start speeding. I just hate it when people blame others when they could have easily prevented it. All you had to do was obey the traffic laws. Anyway goodluck with everything & I hope everything works out..

Don't tell me you've never done what he did when there was little to no traffic on the road. You're probably one of the lucky few who haven't been caught doing it. But who even thinks about cops when the road is clear?

fight it, if you have to prove that you would have gone alot faster than 30mph over the speed limit if you were actually racing.

He wasn't alone... but you're right. It's not only when you're alone and speeding.... it's when you're alone and speeding........................... and your car has a giant spoiler the size of a moose on the trunk lid.
