I'm praying

So as some of you know...I'm 18 years old and I'm about to have an Evo for myself now.

So I went to the dealers today...and I told the guy what I want... GG Evo IX MR SE nothing less...and if it a MUST...I'll get the GG SE.

He gave me a killer deal on the MR...or so I think ($33,999-$33,000) Thats a drop from $37,494 to $33,999...to me thats wow!

I just want to know...what can I do to help lower the price...what kinda negotiation tips can you guys give a kid? I've been saving for about 2 years now...and I'm stoked after driving my dads VIII MR, I can get my own.

I'm planning on getting it Thursday...and I need all teh help I can get! Thanks guys

BTW...I'm selling a brand new PS3 if you guys want one.

Yes, that is a great deal. Are you planning to trade in a car for the Evo? Because when I traded in my car, I had to negotiate how much the trade in value would be because they couldn't lower the cost of the Evo anymore. I got mine for 28k OTD.. In your case I'd suspect they won't be able to lower it anymore as well, so my tip for you is to get the highest you can out of the car you're trading in if you are.

ok...so pretty much I was thinking of getting the IX SE...then I saw the price was 32ish...and when he said he can get the MR for me for only about 1K more...I was shocked!

I will be trading in my car, but the thing is...some lady hit my car while I was at work a few months back and I havent fixed it...it was a hit and run seen by a guest at my store and told my manager...and of all the damn people in the world...it was my car.

my front driver side fender is slighty dinged...tryed fixing it myself but didnt do much...missing driverside mirrior...cracked driver side hubcap...and a ding in the back fender aswell.

other than that...the car is in great condition...washed and waxed every 2 weeks, and extrealy low miles (8014) today

I went to my bank (Bank of America) at 19 and was able to get a $7000 credit limit on the spot. It's not impossible to have good credit at a young age, just rare. In case you were wondering, that came from buying EVERYTHING on credit and paying the card off at the end of each month before the finance charges came.

I did the same thing -- saved up and worked my *** off to be able to afford my Lancer at 16. Honesty, make sure you can pay it off quickly or you'll regret it. That was the only poor financial decision I've ever made.
