I guess not everyone reads the entire thread. Maybe I should update the first page. Here's what you missed, I think.

And like I said, if it works and allows you to run an aftermarket UICP then cool but there is no way you can run a Buschur or AMS or Nisei or anything shorter than stock with that thing becaust it is just as wide as stock. There I said it.

This motorcycle battery rated at 260 cc amps is just not going to work well in a cold climate, actually, I don't think it will work at all. Put that on an EVO where it's 0 F and the car is not going to start.

I am happy you did your batter for $50 but it is no comparison to the kits that are offered elsewhere.

I don't think ANYONE sells a battery kit for $300 plus as was mentioned. Ours is $225. I think we have the most unique kit now as the flat panel on the side leaves you a kick butt place to mount an ignition box, catch can or whatever. It's good enough to pass tech at every drag event and road race event we have attended.

Also, it's very funny to me to be involved on a site with such a poor outlook on "performance" anymore. I read this about 50 times a day now "well for the money I saved who cares about 5, 10, 15, 20 whp or that won't make a difference, what's 20 pounds who cares?" Holy freaking crap Batman. If weight and hp didn't make a difference we wouldn't be out setting records for the last 18+ years now...................................
Bro - wait till you see the new Dyno Flash $5 mod

All you do is use this to drill a hole in your intake and exhuast and you can save yourself the cost of a intake, exhuast and then you can use all the money saved to buy some 25" rims and some bling grils

Positive terminal cover is on the way from the dealer, so that shouldn't be a problem any further. Cute mod idea.

Why are there so many jackasses on here? Even vendors are getting retarded. I guess it's not okay to do anything for oneself anymore is it? We all have to pay someone else to do something for us, because apparently they do it so much better. And only for 300+% more money! Individuals are incompetant ***** who cannot think, act, or even speak for themselves. (note the sarcasm)

Oh who will save us? (and again)

I think there is a lot of corporate brainwashing going on around here. Plus I think Dynoflash is still angry about ecuflash coming out and apparently stealing their profits. Oh yeah, and the ability to inspect their flashes and so on.

I don't mean to bring personal attacks, but personal attacks were brought upon the original poster. I'm sorry if I have offended anyone.

Once again to the OP, good job on the DIY route. You get my respect. Although I don't know how much that will mean seeing as I'm in the wrong for approving of your methods.

Peace, I won't be surprised if I'm not allowed to post anymore for speaking my mind.
