Which part exactly covers Magnuson Moss protecting you when you squeeze more power of a drivetrain than it's supposed to output, or re-do the mapping on the ecu that their engineers had originally done?
For now, just that my 05 spun a bearing at 15,367 miles and the warranty was denied because of a few aftermarket modifications without any investigation into the cause of the engine failure. Legally, they can't do that, and incase anyone doesnt know why, I'll explain in more detail after the case is over, which will be less than 10 days from April 3.
I think he said that right here! I mean unless im reading it wrong!
Intake, exhaust, boost controller, basic ecu tuning. Sketchy for warranty work, that I realize. BUT, burden of proof is on Mitsubishi as outlined by Congress, and there should be no reason that those modifications when used properly would cause a motor to destruct at 15,000 miles.
I read all of it, but still it proves what i said, no ivestigation was done. I dont get your point. seriously!
P.S. I'm gonna stop posting here, cause his original intent was to get advice from people who have been to arbitration, and i cant help cause i have not.

Uhm, they saw what was on the car and pulled the motor apart. Were you expecting something like you saw on CSI?
CSI, come on guy. Dont get ur painties in a bunch cause i dont agree with what ur saying. Again You nor I can help this man, so if u have issues pm me, or start your on thread about this!
just stop making statements period, because I'n my eyes they didnt do a proper investegation period, and if i was him, i would do the same thing! And the are no misinformed comments here, just comments base uppon what I read in this thread! Good day.
Also, it was not the dealership techs that made the detonation claim OR instructed what to be torn down, it was the district representative, who is not technical at all. They basically just pulled a few pieces off the motor so it would be enough for the average joe to assume their conclusion wasn't 100% made up.
There was obviously no ACTUAL attempt at a diagnosis.
