Weird speedometer problem

I was getting on the car hard for the first time in a while and noticed, again, that under full boost the needle for the speedo jumps literally from 65/70->80 mph and then from 110/115->130. The car accelerates fine, it's just that the needle hesitates and then jumps to where it should be. Has anyone else had this problem? I guess it's not that big of a deal since I watch the tach too.

ye my tach has always been ok, my speedo needle just sticks at certain points and then it recovers. Lol I really don't want to bang the dash while under full boost at 100+mph

get a turbo timer, dunno if they all do it, but my HKS projects the digi speed, lot nicer.... plus it may benefit the turbo lol

i've never seen this happen on my evo but on an old accord i had a while back... this happened and i had to replace the whole gauge cluster. got it from the wrecking yard for cheap. you might consider that if you're out of warranty
