cat delete or high flow cat...
tp will make a few more whp than a hfc and will help spool...
its going to be a little louder, but its 110% well worth it...
If you search for dynoflash tests youll see theres a 10whp difference between the 2.
the actually test is suppose to be buschur vs ebay... but its really a highflow vs tp test lol
Cheers!
I went back and forth with my mods in my sig. The HFC felt anemic on the high end and boost took longer to come in. With the testpipe boost came in much quicker and pulled like a bullet train up top. Going from the tp to hfc you wont really notice it but from hfc to tp you really feel the difference. Of course with the tp you have to deal with the stench and people driving behind you can really smell the exhaust.
I'd go w/ a test pipe. To put it simply......If you get a high flo cat, curiosity, power obsession, and other people on this forum will eventually convince you swap it out for a test pipe. I actually went w/ a high flo cat to stay as stealthy as possible. I'm also going to be removing my wing for the rexpeed low profile job in the next week cause I fly under the radar.

Up to you, but for street legality I went with a HFC because I didn't want to get an emissions ticket. Still, mine is throwing a code...but it is a Helix and from what I read one of the most open HFCs
A high-flow cat is no more legal than a TP. It's illegal to remove a working cat from a car, even to replace it with a high-flow. The only "legality advantage" an HFC has is that someone inspecting your car casually is likely to mistake it for a stock cat and not say anything.
If you have an exhaust that is not obnoxiously loud, and you are prepared to swap in the stock cat for emissions tests (or live in a state where they don't do them), then a TP is the superior choice.
And yes as has been said already, you'll eventually give in and run a TP, so you might as well start now
I run the Ebay exhaust and I find it no louder than a cat-back (and no test pipe) B&B Triflo exhaust I used to run on my Z Twin Turbo.

Test pipe or a downpipe with a test built in like mine. The high flow cat is still illegal like the guy above states but doubtfully will fail an inspection cuz whose gonna really know if they look at it.
I went with a HFC at first, then decided, f*** the cat and got a test pipe. After the switch, the turbo spools faster and feels a lot stronger up top. The stench isn't bad either, can't really smell it in the car. Also, even the HFC was smelly, just not as strong as the test pipe. Just go with a test pipe.
HFC, otherwise you are a polluting moron. that is all I will say about that, other than the more informative information below
btw, I hate people who think "everyone else does it why can't I?" man up and take responsibility for what you do. screw what everyone else is doing, especially if they are polluting morons.
and for the record, test pipes are for the track, HFC's are legal but only if you don't have a working CAT at the time. just because it is high flow doesn't mean it can't be CARB certified.
