I think the problem comes from the difference between US and International dyno horsepower standards. Often, those from across the sea look at Dynojet results and forget that they are inherently bloated compared to the dynos they are used to using and cry "Liar!". The same way US folks look at overseas rolling road dyno results and often say "That's all it makes?"

i love the fact that you reffer to pruven as WE like you actually have any part in tuning your car. just because you have a fat wallet does not make you a tuner by any means. stop getting into fights with every single person on every single board out there. get a freaking life.

All right, all right - first of all, I don't get any discounts, kickbacks, free hookers or anything else from RMR. I am only speaking from my experience which has been first-class. As far as dyno results, my stock pull was 220 whp. With the RMR intake and downpipe, it jumped to 250 whp. After the ECU flash, it was 280 whp. I have since added the exhaust and intercooler hardpipe kit. I know alone the exhaust adds 12, the hardpipe is negligible, but with the ECU flashed to take advantage of the full turbo-back, I should be getting around 300 whp. More than enough for what I want. I will post the sheets as soon as I get them done (hopefully before the end of the month).

Well it seems RMR is totally screwed up right now.
You can't get any parts out of them.
They screwed me on a catback that has been what 7 weeks now.
I had ordered the air filter from a vendor and they are still waiting to get it from them. That's a good 3 weeks or so, too.
Naturally I canceled that order.
It seems in their rush to the market they forgot to have a business plan and an understanding of supply and demand.
If you live down the street they will get you parts and put them on, but if you want live in a totally different state, your not important. I'd like to be here to defend them because I thought they were good, but it just turns out to be a bunch of BS!
If they wanted to respond to something, they could respond to my post about the lies on the exhausts. I don't see them touching that one either.

This cannot be good for them. I know that a lot of people are quick to jump on a bandwagon (on either side) especially on forums like this, but that's a lot of people!!! I wonder how all this will affect their business.
I feel for you Shawn! They really messede up. I know this is alittle off subject but I know a great place to have your evo tuned in S. california. I have a Blitz air filter, Blitz BOV (needs to be rerouted because of idle probs and turbo surge) S-AFC, AVCR, "Buschur down pipe, high flo cat, and cat back. After this place tuned it my evo was cranking out 316WHP! No joke. These guys really know what they are doing and their service is great! The place is called XS-engineering. They are in Huntington Beach CA. I heard people send them cars from out of state to have it worked on. Anyways this is their #(714)698-8300 Check out their web. WWW.XS-Engineering.com Can someone pm me on how to put pics and video on here? I have pics, dyno sheet , and video of my evo being dynoed. thanks
Just when I thought things were bad, they got worse, I mean F*cking bad.
First off, I forget who it was that said I dont wrench on my car or dont know how, screw you, ok? You dont know me. I've wrenched on all my cars for years. However my current situation being that I work full time and run a profitable business on my off hours does not allow me the free time I used to enjoy.
So yeah, I know what a wrench is and yes I know how to use it. My time is valuable though and I wanted "professionals" to work on my nice new EVO. Well we all know how "professional" the crooks at RMR are.
Moving on.....I decided to finish swapping out the performance parts from my car myself instead of allowing the dealership aka Satan to do it for me. I saved myself $600, but lost a job tonight worth $500 to me, oh well, what can you do right?
Anyway, I'm finally tearing open the 6 boxes that make up the stock parts RMR took off my car and shipped back to me. Two of the boxes are about completely destroyed. One containing all my suspension components, just loose in the box. No packing material, etc. Nice huh? Next box is miscellaneous intake stuff, etc. I start pulling all the rest of the boxes open to find that my stock cat back exhaust is no where to be found. They kept it! WTF? Gee, you think I should call and ask for it? Nah, I'll just add the amount of a new factory exhaust into my lawsuit.
I have found sooooo many stock items necessary to bolt on my stock parts missing. I mean it's going to cost me a small fortune to order all this crap that I need. Does that surprise me? No. Once again lets keep in mind I told RMR from the get go, I needed ALL my factory parts returned to me in case I ever had a need to go back to stock. Their repsonse? "No prob Shawn, we'll keep track of everything and send it ALL back to you nice and pretty. YEAH RIGHT! Luckily I have the factory manual on CD, which Blair was so kind to SELL me a COPY of. I hope you're reading this Mitsubishi.
Below you'll find pics of the aftermath of tonight's wrenching session. You'll also find detailed diagrams of ALL the parts I have to order to return my car to running status again. Fun huh?
First here are pics of my garage after pulling most everything...

You can see all the lovely coolant all over my radiators shroud, that was just a bit of it, it's all over my windshield as well.

Here is what I'll be faxing over to the dealership tomorrow. All those parts were not returned to me. Minus the few gaskets which cannot be used, all the fastening hardware, brackets, etc. should of come back to me. I'll be lubing myself up and bending over when I pay for these parts tomorrow. Thanks RMR!!! You guys love f*cking me huh?

So, all you RMR supporters what do you have to say now? Your boys are really top notch, first class huh? One part not listed on the above sheets was the factory louvered vent in the hood of the car, RMR removed it since that turbo was so f'in hot. I asked like a 100 times for them to make me a heat shield, but they didn't. Even when I called 3 to 4 times a day to make sure sh*t got done right, it didn't. I'll scan the bill from the dealership when I get my parts and share it with you folks.
If anyone is considering using RMR to install some parts on their car, think twice, learn from my mistake(s). You will get f*cked, guaranteed. Unless you live around the corner and are within a 15 minute drive. They might actually pull their heads out of their asses and provide some decent customer service.
My goal is to spread the word about these guys and hopefully save people from the bullsh*t I've had to deal with.

Turns out the damage was ONLY $150 for all the parts needed to get the car back together and running. That of course doesn't include the cost of the factory cat back exhaust.

damn, that sucks, no matter who or what was done or wasn't done. Missing stock parts is no fun at all, especially when it's a major job like that. I know from personal experience on this, shops love to forget to put parts back on cars, and they love to do it often. Often times its not purposly done, but a mistake, something was forgotten, but when it comes to claim it, they stand by their work, like it's Freakin gold, and that they never did anything wrong or forget anything, even if it's totally obvious. I've been there done that with my honda at a few shops unfortunately.
Damn, i'm not taking sides except for the missing stock stuff, that is really messed up. Especially after dropping so much cash. That's a big let down, no matter what the issue, even if nothing is wrong.
It's also been about 3 weeks, and still no call from RMR about me being on some supposed list for exhausts.
I think they owe everyone on this "list" a call to let everyone know what the hold up is, for real, not mixed match stories.
I'm frustrated with RMR about their backorder issues, and the manner in which they deal with normal selling of parts, and customers. A big let down for sure, but maybe there is a good reason for it all.
we're listening RMR,................

I sure as hell won't be ordering anything from them until they respond to this customers complaints.
Everyone F's up from time to time and most people understand that and would not have a problem dealing with someone that is willing to admitt when they drop the ball, screw the pooch, whatever.... But when folks act like they did nothing wrong in the first place.....
Not saying one way or another that they are to blame for all the problems this guys has had, cause I wasn't there so I don't know.
I guess they are aware that this going to come down to a legal issue and are choosing not say anything that could be used against them.

Usually, a vendor jumps at the chance to defend themselves, and or, their actions... I'd be careful what more I'd say here (you've said way to much already), as the only reason I can see for such silence is adhering to legal advise.
yes, that's true. it must be due to legal advice. BUt there are other problems concerning RMR such as their backorder plicies, etc... that can be addressed, that affect a multitude of customers, that have nothing whatsoever to do with this instance. I agree that they will most likely stay silent about this one though.
