Service engine soon light

So I was driving to work this morning and while I was driving my Service Engine Soon light came on and I'm not sure why. My car only has 10,000 miles on it. Only mods are Exhaust, Intake, and Boost controller. I checked my oil and its full. What could be wrong? Any ideas?

Oh by the way, its an 2006 IX SE

Go to autozone and get the code pulled. Cant really tell you anything without the code.

Yea its the Buschur TBE with HFC. I've had it installed for about a month and a half with no service engine light. Now all the sudden it came on.

Alright I'll go get the code when I get off work.

I threw the p0420 code 2 days after I installed my Buschur TBE with HFC. I've cleared it numerous times and it just keeps coming back. I'm getting accustomed to the light being on :P

Someday, I'll get the CEL fix.

look up my thread on "where to find an O2 sensor?" A memeber here posted a way to flash out the CEL for the secondary O2 sensor, so everytime the ECU goes to see if the readings from that sensor are good or bad it will always tell the ECU its good. I went from having this code throw 3 times a week and having stalling issues when cold and -11 to -13 fuel trims to all those issues going away.

If it is the O2 code, call Buschur. I had the same problem and they just sent me their O2 spacer to fix it.

Doesn't that just skip the secondary o2 sensor test? If the test is not completed you may not have a check engine light but all the readiness indicators wont pass and for those with OBD2 inspections , it might be a problem.
