Now that is the kind of payment i'm talking about {clap} What kind of credit rating do you need to be in the 7.35% range?

well I just realized that my calcualtor had other insurances added in (even tho I didnt select them.

If he gets them to a $27200 Evo 9 price, $1000 down, $22500 trade allowance, $14000 payoff, 7.2% rate, 56 term, his payments would be $442.50
That is based on a $600 title, registration, doc fee, $2176 tax (8% of $27200) No owner loyalty given. ($500) If you include the $500 in as a rebate, it drops the payment down to $431.96

Very damn good, no defaults, no late payments, and have friends at the bank. This was on a USED Evo, no new. Used rates are usually in the 17-27% range.

Hey, don't let Sean at Phil Long screw with you. He tried the same crap when I looked at the BR350. All they care about is their money, nothing else. If you did want a new IX MR, then sell your car and buy a new one so that you can finance a lesser principal for the same car. BTW is it the black MR?

Are you willing to fork out $15k for a little less weight, 6 speed transmission and a little extra HP? Not worth it in my opinion.

The suspension and air foil things you can put onto your 8 yourself and save a boatload of money. You can just get a new tune for the difference in HP. This would all cost you less then $2k to get done.

It would be a different story if you were trading a different kind of car for an EVO MR. But seriously, is the little extra difference to an MR worth $15k, hell no!

Let's all be practical here. Save your money man, you'll be happy when you pay off the $14k you owe and have no more payments. You can spend the money you save modding your car or taking yourself on vacation, or you can buy a beater car with it. Either way, you have an 8 with low miles on it. I wouldn't give it up.

There is no better feeling then sending in that last car payment. It's like a huge chip off your shoulders. The next month, you are totally unsure what to do with that extra cash. IT's great.

Bad deal
sell your car.
Put 8K in down payment and it will be only $428 a month

Play with the numbers here:

http://www.defenselink.mil/mapsite/carpay.html

you can also get the price of the new car lower if you don't have a trade in and the fact that it is a 2 year old car.

I was looking at the White MR, i saw a Smoke Grey SE a couple weeks ago, doesn't appear to be there. I think they sold the BR350, i didn't see it on the lot.

I dunno, I do like the IX MR... but yes, I cant justify doubling my debt to get it.....

I think I'll hold out until they come down more, or some of you start selling your IXs for the X

Unless, of course, Sebastian wants to make me a deal......

Oh, and I was "dealing" with Alan Stansbury (creep) and a sales associate Eric Smith (Cool!)

If I had any 9's but I dont. I am surprised there are dealers with some still in stock. They are about to put themselves in a pickle in 2 months.

I am confident that you can get the price down more. Especially if they have more than 1 in stock. Remind them that the X will be out in 2 months and that it will be really hard for them to sell the 9 at that time. Then hit them up with a lower payment/price. It is up to you.

Yea, I'm gonna try. They are supposed to call me back on Tuesday. Do u think they would go for 22-23k total (in debt, after taxes, etc.?)

You should talk to Jamie, the GM, and tell him Kary Finley sent you. He will give you a great deal over any of the salesmen or managers. Sean really won't give you as great a deal. If you really want a new car, just be kinda of cocky with them till you get what you want, or else you may be stuck with a higher payment.

Keep the VIII, I would never even consider this. You only owe 14K why double your loan again? Just get some go fast mods on it and your set.
