Greddy UICP

I just got the Greddy UICP and I just wanted to know, what that second bung is used for? The first one is for re-circulating the blowoff valve and the second bung seems to do nothing. My friend suggested I fill it with apoxy so it can be re-tapped for somthing else.
In this picture its the 1st bung and the 2nd is for the BOV:

I have the same pipe and unless you weld a piece of aluminum over the bung then i bet your going to get a boost leak. It may not be a lot but it does. I did a test on my system and that was a leak i ran into.

What about some type of rubber or silicone cap with a clamp?

Thats exactly what I was thinking, but my mechanic said it could tear since I want to get a bigger turbo and run a lot of boost. So what he did was cut the unused bung shorter, put in a brass plug and filled it with apoxy. Looks like sh*t but he said it will do the job better.

If you really want to make sure you have no head aches cut the bung off at the pipe and just bring it to any aluminum shop where they could heli arc a plate on for you.
