I did sit in an '05 MR when I still had my stock clutch in my '03...let me tell you, there was a very different clutch pedal feel.

About the door lock switches, comparing my '03 to my uncle's '06, there is a difference in size. His switches are noticably bigger.
Could this mean that Mitsu used whatever was available and didn't go with one size? You are saying that your '03 and your '06 had the same size buttons. Very wierd indeed.
I'm just saying between my 03' and my 06' I didn't notice a difference in clutch pedal feel. As far as I know, they didn't do anything different from one year to the other. My Exedy HD twin disk didn't feel much heavier than my stocker in my 03'.

When I bought my 06' it was almost immediate what was different just sitting in the car. I had about a 4 hour drive home from picking it up and never noticed anything different with the door switches. The first and main thing I noticed as soon as I got on the highway was how high the car was revving in 5th gear at 75mph. It had been 3 months since I drove a Evo and it was very noticable. Got on here and confirmed the gear changes in the 9.

Next time I'm around a 03' I'll check the buttons out for myself, but I never noticed them being different.
