I suspect they'll leave the EVO pretty much alone for 2004 and concentrate on marketing the Ralliart Lancer and the new Lancer wagon. We may see a minor change or two but I don't think we'll see much until 2005.

I'm guessing they'll have a complete redesign. No Evo has used the same design for 2 straight generations. As for the 2004 model, I really don't know. But I'll agree with wmcorcor, they'll leave the 2003 Evo as is, and concentrate on the other Lancer. I estimate the 2004 will arrive towards the 4th quarter of 2003.

 

It's mid-year... this is when manufacturer release the
spec/changes for the next year model...

I wonder if anything will change for 2004 Evos..

 

Next year's Evo's probably won't be released until Jan/Feb '04.

I think they may put that new face from the 04 lancers on it....

will not change anything on the EVO until the '05 model bows, if even then. Styling and all that will remain the same.

 

I don't agree, since the 8 already has the split grille nose which is new for 2003, and unique headlights as well. It is not mitsubishi's goal to make the evo look more than the standard lancer.

 

Or we could start dreaming and hope they restore the EVO VI design.

 

You will not see the EVO 9 till 05 as a 2006 it will be a complete redesign again,BUUUUUTTT we are geting the RS and GTA-1 w/more power and equipment,1 w/less and more for the everyday driver
