Hmmm, thats pricey, a little too pricey. I dont doubt they can be had for less and I dont doubt that more than 1500 will be available.

No offense to the guy that posted this but I NEVER trust anything a dealer says. Even if they were a family member I wouldn't trust them. Not necessarily because they are lying but because the just dont have the right information provided to them.

I would have to ask why they would only send 1500? That seems silly?

I was waiting for an 04' but the bundling of the seats with the stereo and the price makes me reconsider. Maybe the 03's on my local lot are a good deal by now. (of couse they have that many b/c they were dicks in the first place to so many)

 

I doubt the 04 will have a 6-speed... If the MR ever comes it will contain the 6-speed and ACD...

Either way its always nice to see prices go up, glad I got mine for 28k out the door last year. Ripped the stock soundsystem out and put a screen in, with 5.1 digital, speakers, sub, amp, center, for under 2g's

the 04's are $1005 more expensive than the 03's but you get the carbon fiber spoiler and a 100k mile warranty. $500 for the cf wing and $500 for the warranty seems reasonable.

 

I paid $28,000 (probably could've gone $400 lower) the day after Thanksgiving ... w/ CF spoiler no sunroof. It's the usual cycle... the '04s will be $1-2k more for awhile.

 

Any new colors for '04 or just will it be the same six that we have now? Any subtle exterior changes? Will we only be able to tell an '04 from '03 by the leather seats?

I think he is adding in the $500 destination. (he mentioned it in his first post)

 

ordered my 04 in the begining of March w/ cf wing and sunroof for 29,500. My dealer said it should be in the end of this month or the begining of June

 

I think that they are bringing such a limited number of 04's because for one, they truly should be getting the 05's ready by now, and two, because they maybe overestimated the demand for '03. Either way, I'm glad to hear that they are coming finally, hopefully they will sell rather quickly and we can get the 05's by the end of this year or early next year.

 

We just delivered our first 2004 RS today. Great car. The gutted out trunk is cool, the extra brace by the spare tire is different also. No center console armrest either. It looks great with no spoiler(sleeper look) I will try and get some more pics up soon.

 

I just picked up my '04 EVO Saturday, silver w/ sunroof, black leather. Got it from stolhman mitsubishi in tysons corner, VA. MSRP is $29,999 then add $2,550 for the sun & sound + leather package, and $ 595 for destination, = $33,144.00.
