I wanted to show the EVO community that our cars are not that complicated to work on IF you do your research, take your time, and plan out your modifications. Not only am I doing a how to on the turbo install I recently purchased a new sony video camera. So yep that's right.. You all will also be getting a HOW TO VIDEO for the ETS 58 Trim Turbo Install!

If you remember weeks back when I was installing the fuel injectors I forgot to oil the o rings. While I was removing the wiring harnesses I lost one of those metal clips. The following is my solution. I made a replacement clip out of a paper clip. It is really easy to do if you follow my picture steps. You can not purchase the metal clip without purchasing the wiring harness.

Week 3 - Fuel Rail & Fuel Injector Install
As the previous post stated I had to buy new o rings because I forgot to re-oil them once I put them into the upgraded fuel rail. The next few photos will go over oiling the o rings and installation of the Perrin Fuel Rail
Below is the oil pool that I created to dip the o rings.

I used a flathead screw driver to place the o rings into the oil pool.

I repeated this process for all of the injectors and here is what they looked like when I was done. Notice that I labeled each injector from the begining of the install.

Next step is to place the injectors into the Perrin Fuel Rail. The injectors should slide into the rail with ease.

In order for the Perrin Fuel Rail to fit onto the intake manifold I had to remove the throttle cable. Before removing the cable I marked the centerline of each of the bolts so that I knew where the plate was set at.

To connect the wiring harness the fuel injectors had to be pulled out slightly from the fuel rail in order for a solid connection.

Once the throttle cabel was out of the way I placed the fuel rail onto the intake manifold. Be sure to put the plastic spacers in between the rail and the manifold.

Next I installed the high pressure hose to the fuel rail. And then I connected the fuel pressure regulator (not shown below)

In order to install the bolts on the bottom side of the fuel pressure regulator and the high pressure fuel line I placed a small amount of tape inside the socket.

The next few pictures show how I rerouted the high pressure fuel line around the throttle body. The hose provided by Perrin is shown with red tape around it.

Next step was the connect the fuel line to the fuel pressure regulator.

Finished shot of the fuel rail.
