I like the Rally Red, but seriously, why are you asking other people what color you should get? Just get the color you want.. By that question alone I'm starting to think you only want an Evo because your friend said it's "a wicked tight car yo!"

WW is hard to come by in japan, white has a special meaning to them.

no i am getting it off the auction.. Pweter is always aviable and in my city there is 2 blues already and one Evo 8 red but i think the IX red is going to be different than the Evo 8... and there is 2 gray ones my neighbour has... and 2 silver ones... but is the evo 8 red differnet from evo ix red? let me know...

 

and rember this is a auction so you know limited choice but comes stock like brand new with like 1000km. yep plastic on the seat.

 

As far as I know (someone correct me if I'm wrong)... The Rally Red VIII and IX are identical. The only colors that are a different shade are:

-Electric Blue vs Blue-By-You
-Wicked White vs. Weightless White.

 

I would get a hta gt35r twinscroll from full-race, ets or dms i think i got the last name wrong. If you want a good second gear or third gear pull for street i would go with what i metioned above as the largest turbo i would run to have any sort of streetabilty.

I own one of these cars locally which by the way, only 2 other JDM IX MR units are here in Jamaica. Let me tell you, i never regreted the day I purchased mine.

I can give you a quick run-down on the JDM IX MR.
Firstly, not to burst your bubble but this editon was only available in 4 colours,
1. Pearl White
2. Rally Red
3. Silver
4. Graphite Grey

Any colour outside of this is "fake" if it is badged MR. Only 3000 units were produced in Japan and they ran for just 2 years 2006 and 2007 respectively. Aside from the added interior amenities such as seats, door handles, a/c vents, I havent really seen a significance between it and the other variants of IX's especially performance wise. Anyway thats my 2 cents for now, we can link up if you need anymore advice on same. PEACE...

A rel Mr suppose to come with BBS RIMS, HID xenon headlights, foglights, accessory gauge, package, "zero lift" kit, special badging and an aluminum roof.. But you know how these japanese people are in japan they take off everything...
