Stalling Problem...
just a technical question, as im not too familiar with cars, im just getting into them. i was out last night and my car(2003 evo) randomly stalled, and i started it back up and it rides fine oe 1,000 rpms but if i take a turn slowly or come to a light it will dip below 1,000 rpms, flutter then stall out. i asked a few buddies and they think it could be the throtlle response sensor is what he told me. If anybody is familiar with this type of thing i appreciate the help, i need to fix it quick before vacation on saturday. thanks again
i havnt done any mods myself, the car has new cams also. i believe 15,000 miles on them. i drove the car for a day and a half, and it just kind of randomly happened, im just wondering if its something i can fix myself or what would i need to buy? thanks for the help!!

Well a full mod list would help. If your car has aftermarket cams, that's what is making it stall at low speed/load. The timing being bumped up in that area will help stabilize the idle.
bluebyu36, if you have extremely fouled plugs, your car will stall pretty easily. The OP stated he isnt't too familiar with cars so it could be a definite possibility.
thanks for the help, yea like i said im not too familiar with tuning or fixing cars, i just got the car from a relative who doesnt drive it too often and i finally have the money to start modding and learning about this stuff. there are aftermarket parts installed, just ones i kno off the bat are the cams gears, megan racing exhaust, koyo radiator, turbo timer, manual boost controller, hks intake. im just gonna take the car and have it lookedat today, i need a fix by saturday
^from that list, the problem is likely the HKS intake. you probably don't have a tune (or have a crap tune) and the hks intake, like many other intakes for this car, throw off MAF readings.
get a tune or remove the intake and put on stock airbox.
if you have an aftermarket blowoff valve, that could also be the issue.

do you have a boost gauge? what is the vaccum reading? if the car was driving fine and all of a suddenly started this issue? if this has been a ongoing issue than most likely its the intake, bov, or you need a tune. i personally think its a vaccum leak because you say you stall when turning real slow(which decreases vaccum) check to make sure there isnt a loose vaccum line, especially behind the intake manifold.
