Most likely a private label deal. Enersys/Hawker is the manufacturer...Odyssey is their in house brand. You can buy them with more generic Enersys branding on them for less- their G16EP model is the equivalent to a PC680. We used to buy them wholesale for around $80, re-brand them, and sell them for around the same price as everyone else who was doing the same thing.
Keeping them on a tender is pretty much mandatory unless you want to be replacing them all the time. We offered a pro rated warranty on them contingent upon use of a tender, which was sold with the battery as a package. That was tough to validate but people were more honest with us than I would have expected.

Running an open cone filter in hot/humid Houston TX. Even with a "shield" added it still got horribly sluggish in summer and as soon as ambient temps got anywhere over 75 degrees. Replacing it with an AEM with the closed box and tacking on a 3.5in intercooler and better tune just to be sure.
