Damn! I was going to adjust to more aggresive but my stupid star screw broke inside and now i cant adjust it. I can drill and get it out but too much hassle. Going to buy another set at ebay(only $30 shipped now) and going to sell it local(with stuck screw).

thanks for the info. very helpful thread, im new here, and i just want to ask if the evo 7 is the same as the evo 8?..im from the Philippines..and I own a 2002 evo 7, and mods posted here are always from evo 8 or 9 and X..are the mods of the 8 and 9 applicable to the 7? since their from the same CT9A body..THANKS! it would help a lot!

Yes, a lot of the mods used on the evo 8/9 are compatible with the evo 7!

Just got another short shifter. Installed and I couldnt even shift into 1st gear.
The middle ball was little larger than the previous piece i had. Right now I'm sanding it right now to make it small. I guess i got defected unit.
