This guy knows whats up. !! Take some initiative and find good deals on used parts. I used an ebay mani (that I welded bracing into to prevent cracking)and a used turbo. If you do spend the money on a ball bearing turbo 9 times out of 10 you can make the stock water lines work. Oil return is easy you just cut the end off the stock line and buy whatever bolts directly to the turbo you choose then connect the two ends with some heavy duty rubber hose and 2 clamps. Im pretty sure oil feed is the only line I spent money on. I put my setup together for 980 bucks!! including slim fan, couplers and etc. Martha Stewart ain't got **** on me when it comes to working with a budget.

I mean really, take a look at pictures of turbo kits, its way simpler than people think.

Not neccesarilly. I dropped out of High school my Junior year because i was making $28 a hour decided its what i wanted to do for the rest of my life. Now i have a GED 14 years of experience in computers and own a landscaping company. I make over $130K a year off my landscaping company alone.

BUT i was very fortunate on how things worked out and am very thankful I DO WISH I GOT MY COLLEGE DEGREE and tell everyone its VERY IMPORTANT now days.

And BTW dont use a Credit Card thats about the worst thing you can do. My motto is if i dont have the CASH i dont really need it. Put what you can away and save till you have enough is the best advice i can give you.

Good luck .
Contribute up to what your employer matches, dump the rest you want to contribute into a Roth...

Example.. you want to contribute 10% of your salary to retirement, your company matches 1:1 up to the first 7% on your 401k. Contribute 7% to your 401k and the other 3% to a Roth IRA.

This is what my finicial advisor instructed me to do. In the course of talking to another friend he recieved the same advise from his advisor.

Savings. ETS 1/2 up front other 1/2 when kit is ready to ship. One happy EVO owner

I agree do not put a 3k plus Turbo Kit on credit unless you have it to pay off the following month

You can almost always piece stuff together from the classifieds. If you want something fast and fun and pretty big turbo setup. I see manifolds on there all the time, and some really really nice ones like the TS full-race ones. You can find used tial wastegates on ebay for pretty cheap, just have to be thrifty and think outside of the box sometimes.
