No this car was the 944 turbo aka 951. I had a custom exhaust that I made to fit a GT3582 HTA turbo on and full TEC3r engine management the thing pulled like a train even at 17psi and I was going to run about 30psi

I give you VIII and IX guys props for sticking with your cars. They haven't aged well in the looks department that's for sure. Inside and out they look like a 90's product.

Chances are, the CT9As were developed at the tail end of the '90s since the VII was released somewhere around 2001 or so, so obviously the VII-IX (all based on more or less the same car) with small refreshes here and there from generation to generation won't look like something that just came out in the past couple of years.

But I think you're confusing what "aging well" means. Obviously with all of the trends in automotive design from the past few years (like flame surfacing and stuff like that), it doesn't look like it was designed anytime recently, but that's not what "aging well" is. Something not aging well means that the design was more or less based on a fad that looks very out of place in years following it. An example of that would be something like that last generation Toyota Celica, which seemed cool at the time but looks odd now. The CT9A Evo was never meant to win beauty pageants then or now, but I wouldn't say it hasn't aged well. It still looks clean, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Evo X lines look out of place when the next design trend hits.

But then again, seeing how you're in Canada, you didn't have the option of an VIII or IX anyway, so you owning the X out of all iterations of the Evo is a given.
