Got pulled over a couple weeks ago for no front plate, he was just looking for an excuse, it usually confuses them when some 40 something social worker is in the car instead of a kid. So far just warnings, most cops just dont like evos, or any other car that can outrun their pos cruiser.
In WA by the way, if you are running through Marysville on I-5 and speeding, you WILL get pulled over.

Any other good ways to display a front plate legally without having the painfully obvious drill holes? The Evo Im buying doesnt have front plates or brackets and Im not too crazy about the thought of drilling my new car.

Try that in NYC and you will regret it. They tried to get me while my car was in my driveway.

Not having a front plate on your car is a moving violation in MA and will result in a ticket along with increased insurance premiums.

^^^^ that is ghey!!!!! some laws are just stupid. I wish Ohio would just pass the law to not have one.

Here is mine!

I got stopped when I went thru a drunk stop at a 4 lane street, the office said "had anything to drink tonight?" no sir just left work. He says "well i could give you a ticket for no plate" i reach under the seat and throw it in the windshield. "he said why don't you have it mounted on the front?" I said the same reason guys in corvettes and mustangs and any other muscle car don't, I didn't spend the kind of money I did on my car to put holes in it and I refuse to. He said have a nice day

I may have been being a smart *** but it is funny how many import cars get pulled over for no plate and how many vettes, stangs, gtos and so on don't

Maybe there is some way to design a motorized bracket that flips the tag upright from underneath the front bumper (with the press of a switch from the interior)? This would be dope! If you get pulled over you can just press the button and be like ummm what are you talking about officer
