I got pulled over the other day for:

1. not having a front license plate.

2. Front windows were tinted.

The cop actually followed me for about a minute or two before pulling me over. When he got up to my car, he told me that if I had Illinois plates that he would give me a ticket for the tint and the lack of a front plate. It cracks me up that he actually followed me (looking at my plate and CLEARLY seeing that I didn't have Illinois registration) and then pulled me over to tell me about the retarded Illinois laws. Either he wasn't paying attention to where my car was registered until he already had me pulled over or he was just being a tard.

Doesn't surprise me, though. Illinois cops don't protect and serve, they generate revenue.

I think that would be illegal in CA to post anything inside the car.

 

what about this guy's ??? check mine out!! it may help, just bend the top at a 90 degree angle, and zip screw it up.

 

^^ is the plate at angle? I have mine zip tied in the same location but it isn't straight on if you look at it from the front.

 

I like that alot though I wonder if it would work as well on a stock VIII bumper.

 

i got a ticket this morning at 730 for no front license plate. I didn't find out till I woke up but the ******* also tried to get me for parking too far away from the curb but I clearly was no even close to being over 18 inches away. I never see any cops in my neighborhood and a ticket on a Sunday at 730 in the morning!! WTF

 

thats sucks.. what neighborhood was this? a few years ago in the Mission District I had my bucket 84" prelude ( dont laugh i only paid $400 and it drove like a champ!) parked on the sidewalk with expired tags, ordered some chinese food went down to my car and it was gone! **** DPT!

 

i live in west portal and i've never had this happen before, I wish I saw the dpt that did it so i could flip over that POS

 

I just took mine off two days ago....havn't gotten stopped yet...I'll keep my fingers crossed.

 

If i get pulled over I just zip tie the plate on the mesh get it signed off and take it back off....of course i live in upstate ny and cops dont really bother me too much.....lol
