The DSM/EVO Shootout, the community and Buschur Racing
First off, JNZ and TurboTrix, the two of you are two of the MAIN shops behind the other event. If you two would like me to cut and paste the nasty side of you onto public forums from NABR I'd be glad to do it. I am trying to keep all of this nice and stay out of your business. You two, along with others have been putting this event together with one nasty purpose for over a year, the purpose is to mess with me and the Shootout. I'd like nothing better than to make a few hundred of your comments public that were on NABR about me/my shop and the Shootout. So, since I am trying to be a better person I have ignored you guys and not posted anything negative. Stay out of this thread and any others I start and we'll get along just fine and I'll keep my posts from NABR to myself. Sound like a fair enough deal?
evodan2004, that was a great post my friend. Thank you for coming last year, glad you had a great time and welcome back in 2009!

Scumbag move on TT, not only for BR but for us also. Clearly they do not have the best interest for the community if they schedule to great events on the same dates.
Obviously this was planned out a long time before the date was set to get other Haters (shops) involved.
I would just like to say, Thank you TT for making it that much easier for me to choose Buschur over you guys.

+1
What a foolish move by TurboTrix, JNZ and whomever else is involved with scheduling on the same weekend as the Shootout.
E-town is way too far of a haul for some of us who are west of Ohio. I am going to try and make it to the shootout this year with or without my high altitude 10sec Evo VIII.

From page 3,
danl, you are quite obviously a 100% Buschur hater, you have posted on every single forum I have been on your dislike for me and such. That is fine. You do need corrected though and I can't pass it up. I do not remember banning Kevin Bacon, I haven't dwelled on it like yourself. I will go along with you and say I did it as I very well may have. Let's clear something up though. Looks like I saw him for what he was before you did then because he ripped off an entire BUNCH of people of their money for his FMIC's that he copied from us and ran with the money. I guess banning him before that wasn't so bad? As for Marco, his ban was lifted and I accepted his challenge to race. He was already going to E-town I guess. So in 20 years I've banned two guys. You are one of the guys that need to look at your own group and yourself before judging me. NABR banned the entire state of Ohio last year because they thought someone there was leaking information to me. They permanently banned 4 of my friends for supporting me. Think about yourself and your group before you judge me.
I know when I am wrong and I take steps to fix it/change it. There are a bunch of others that should be doing the same.
This ordeal is like last years intake testing. The only person that is taking the time to respond for any of his actions is once again, me. The other parties involved avoid any questions.
For reference. In 2010 the DSM/EVO Shootout is scheduled for the same weekend AGAIN as it is this year. The same weekend it has been for the last 5 years too.

And Mike, ya I agree, there aren't any 9sec cars at the shop.
RACING is about competition and the more competitors the better the race and the better the experience for the racer and the fans.
All I can speak for is myself, I made the effort to not only help organiuze my own race - the WRX vs EVO race so that everyone could have a good time I also made an effort to get my car together and make the race.
What have you done other than take pot shots at me on all sorts of various forums? When have I ever attacked you ?
My point is simple and easy to grasp.
The guys behine the NJ race are doing all thge members of the community an injustice and harming our sport in an effort to feed their egos and advance a feud.
Its not my decision, I have no power other than to complain.
If you don't want to see me racing my car don't watch.

The focus is only 1 thing by TT and JNZ.. Hurt the shootout.. They could care less about bettering the community and the sport.. Diluting the field is selfish and wreckless IMO.. Shows NO CLASS IMO..

I note that you drove yourself all the way up from Florida to attend the race last year in NJ when the NHRA was still working with NOPI.
Effort and action speaks louder than words.
Its a pity that everyone can join together in unison at both events.

As you already know, I will see you guys again this year in Ohio. Its a shame that we could not have also met again in NJ.

I think that if Buschur takes ownership in the name of the shootout, he should be semi-responsible for the conduct in which the participants and or vendors behave. Most are of age grown *** men, and some unfortunately act like children.
I can identify with some of your points David, however the industry core contributors as a whole need to work better at politics at the least and comradery at best.
