I just sold my R35 GTR, still have a 2 years on my E92 M3 and am looking to get an Evo again. Just like previous posts on this thread, the feel of the Evo, steering shifting, pedal placement, weight, etc just fits me. Trying to find a decent used one is getting harder and harder. So the answer is no, you're not crazy.

I've had 4 evo's. I tried getting away from them when I bought a s2000. I'm within days of selling my 4th evo and not looking to buy a car until spring time. But I refuse to buy another evo in that I would never keep it in stock form and am tired of wasting money on mods.

pay off your evo, and keep it!!! i have 1 more damn year and car will be mine! - than im thinking to buy used S4 v8 version less problems, or 2004-06 m3 next year.

both cars are dope.

I was in the market for a Evo IX, but then I felt the Turbo VQ power from a G35 with a Twin turbo kit and man did that thing pull. Im also interested in getting a M3 E46, but they are too damn expensive. I'd only want a Imola Red or a Laguna Seca blue or that gun metal grey.

UPDATE...

M3 was traded today for a very nice 06' Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4, with 2 tone leather and sunroof. Perfect timing with all the snow we are getting hit with! I will keep this as my daily driving once i find the right Evo.
