My kids like riding in my wifes STi now as its the new cool car. I wish I had parents as cool as us. One owns an Evo and the other a STi.

Take my 2 (6 and 10) around as a treat, my girl DDs a expedition and myself a f150, but I wouldn't hesitate at all to bring them anywhere in it, even if it was my only car. I just adjust my driving style to family mode..... well, until I stand on it, and watch their smiles grow as the boost builds then glow as I rip through 1-2 and sometimes 3rd. (gotta control the urge!!!)

Just play "Captain Slow" when they are in the car, and make sure the child seat is installed correctly!

I pick up my 12 year old daughter up from school everyday. I pull up to the waiting area and all the parents in their oversized SUV's turn around and look at my car. I love it! My daughter is so proud as she walks over to the car and opens the back door to get in!

My family feels very safe in The Evo IX-MR. I trust it completely!

Recaro child booster seat anyone?

I can only speak for myself but if you have a child in your car you are going to be driving much safer then if your alone..... Unless you buy this seat:
http://www.amazon.com/Recaro-Vivo-Bo...ies/B002NYQYOW

If you have this seat you can take your kid to at least 125mph right?

Recaro car seat is great, did a lot of research before buying one just for the cool factor. Have very great ratings, are very user friendly and comfortable and protective for the kids. My wife was in an accident when the car seat was in another car, my wife had minor pains and such but my daughter was fine, didn't even cry or feel a thing. Most important thing is the car seat be installed and adjusted CORRECTLY.

i had a 16 yr old hit me doing 45 in my first one. my nephew and brother were with, all of us were fine. i have two sons that are 2 and 7 mos. i drive with them in the car all the time and im not worried about their safety. my car is equipped with three of the most important things to avoid a crash, good Brembo brakes, AWD, and 400hp

Safety is relative to the nature of the impact. I have handled auto claims for years, and I have found that you can do everything right and obey all traffic laws and still end up as a fatal in an accident. There are types of accidents that will always end un as a fatality regardless of the type of passenger vehicle you are in. I have seen a suburban that was involved in a multi car rear end impact in between two semis on the freeway, and the result was such that the length of the surburban was reduced to a total of six feet. Needless to say, an entire family perished in that particular loss. When it is time to go, you go.

With that being said, my 3 year old loves to ride in the evo, and loves it when the boost comes on!

I drop off my 4 year old daughter at daycare every morning in my IX. She has a Recaro booster seat. This is my second Evo. My 2003 was totaled when it was rearended at about 60 mph while I was stopped. It did a great job of absorbing the impact. I walked away with minor scrapes. I didn't have kids in the back seat that day, but they would have been fine. No damage to the passenger compartment at all.
