Help Backfire

Hey Guys,

Tonight i done a second gear pull into 3rd, when it went into 3rd it backfired and started to run like **** and stalled.

Now when i try crank it starts with a little throttle but runs rough backfires and stalls.

WTF??

Any suggestions, i did a quick check of the timing belt and it looks to be fine, maybe a half tooth out but was a quick check and it cant skip a half tooth.

Suggestions please!!!

Did you blow off an IC pipe? Maybe the original 'back fire" was the sound of the hose popping off.

Check your spark plug to see if it's foul.

not to sound like u dont know what ur doing, but check the pipes again, my bro called me while he was stuck on the freeway, i told him his ic pipe popped off, he checked and told me it was all good, he got towed home, i told him to check again, and he found it.. if its still good, do a boost leak test and check the coils

When I had a major boost leak, it started and idled just fine. Only fell on its face as soon as I gave it any gas whatsoever
