I had my transmission rebuilt by shep....went way too long for a tranmission flush. When they flushed it they mechanic said there was a lot of metal on the drain plug. I explained it hadn't been changed since it was freshly rebuilt. I'm keeping an eye on it but now I noticed when the car is cold its really hard to get into reverse or first gear, and even after its warmed up reverse sometimes is almost impossible to get into. I think my clutch is farked. Dreading rebuilding my carbonetics but I dont really like the feel of any other clutch.

I would liek to add that I've 2 stepped my car 3 times since I've had it....with stock horsepower I locked out on 1 to 2 shift. I two stepped recently (I have about 420ish) and I locked again at high rpms but when I get on it spirited driving it shifts fine.

Well clutch is now at 1200 miles breakin is done......So I bring it to the shop the is a carbonetics dealer here in town to have it readjusted and the fluid changed...another $150 bucs, took it out and started playing with it some and still grinding....****. I don't know what else to do other then send the tranny back in. I think this time it will be the Buschwacker or TRE.

List of stuff I have done.......
Shep street & strip with extra REM options & Evo9 1st gear
Shep T-case
SS clutch line
New OEM clutch master cylinder
New OEM slave cylinder
BR soild shifter bushings under hood
BR shifter base bushings
Blox front motor mount
Ingalls stiffy
AMSoil...tranny
Diaqueen...Tcase
Carbonetics twin disk
New DOT3 fluid change

What a waste of $6000 dollars

Man that really sucks. I went with the Bushwacker for my build, when I drive it Ill let ya know what I think. But according to this thread it runs pretty awesome.

Shep is a good reputable company, but Iam thinking about going with the bushwacker transmission also.
