What make me mad is you see some old G driving a civic tell you Mitsubishi's are not a good cars. WTF Call me when you don't have to do a swap to beat and evo. The only car that honda made that can give the evo a run for it money is the NSX and thats only on the highway. I had an 00 civic si, and a rsx type-s, diving an evo you feel like you have full control over the car. I can jump on the highway and 100mph and it feels like your doing 60mph. Do it most Honda's and the car feels like it's going the fall apart.

 

Its a very rare car in Canada cause they just legalized it last year. I'm 43 and get stares from guys half my age when I go zooming past them(when needed). Most onlookers think its not a real EvoIX until they see it kick in. Its a case of the haves and have nots. We got it and they don't.

 

^^ Yea, in Canada they are quite rare... I only know of 2 other EVO in a 200km radius from where I live... and 1 is my brother's and we are neighbour :P .People who know about this car (mostly youngsters) cant believe their eyes... others (old pops) laugh...babies cry... Im 30 and I dont give a damn. My father laugh at us and alsways ask whats up it the washing lines on our trunks...

It cost me 1000$/yr for insurance (quite low compared to the states) and I paid taxes on only 15'000$ when I bought the car because they couldnt find his value in the Blue Book... lol I had paid 27'500$...

I said I was gonna buy an EVO like my brother and she said well you know, you can put alot of things also on the mazda 5 and since your girlsfriend is pregnant, that would be better than a toy car...

Not hating on hondas or others cuz I'm an enthusaist not a fanboy, but I only get looks and comments from them that my car is too weak. Most of the time I get people who throw a thumbs up or nice ride and I hbave gtc wing, rexpeed kit, dropped with rims. At what times do they hate on you?

 

i have a muscle car fanatic and we were arguing over emails.
i showed up a youtube video of a fp red evo racing a gsxxr. he makes some rice joke and replies with some crazy drag car with a wheelie bar and parachute.

i'm like dude you're comparing apples to oranges.

I'm planning on driving to Toronto with mine after my motor rebuild....I might be moving there...if I do Evo comes with.

Even I used to think AWD cars wern't that fast on the HWY........boy was I wrong. I get giddy when I think of my next motor/turbo setup and the power it may hopefully yield.

If you have to question then you don't understand. If you don't want to learn then you'll find out the hardway.

I like the attention. I don't hassled by cops too much if I'm obeying the speed limit and the rules of the road.

most ppl are just way too ignorant about them, even hard core car guys have no clue about what they can do. But first impersions are everything and the wing has not helped the evo at all, they see that and think all kinds of things,

 

because people who mod up N/A lancers w/ evo wings and cf hoods give us a bad rep

they try to be like evos but there not :P

The NSX is slow as dog **** on the highway
the only way it can kind of keep up is on a autocross track and even then the evo should win

 

older people dont like them. Theyll compare it to all these other cars and they say its a pos. Younger people that talk s&*% about them say that cause they are hatersssss.

 

i havent had many haters but this is one guy who says y did i finance a turbo. He drives a girly celica thats riced out so its nothing but haters bro. I bet u once they got done hating on u they went on autotrader looking at how much they cost. Let em hate all they want because deep down u know u got a great car that many wish they could afford.
