Oxygen Sensor Wires Pulled

When I was removing my oxygen sensor from the o2 housing it somehow got caught on the housing when the impact wrench started freely rotating the sensor. Is there any way to reconnect the wires into the connector or am I going to need to get a completely new sensor from Mitsubishi?

if they got pulled out of the sensor, you need a new one. if the wires broke, you could splice them. good luck.

I would replace it. narrow band o2's work off of very low voltage so any change in resistance of the wires can make the ecu interprit the wrong signal. check oxygensensors.com or pm CBRD they know the cheap place to get plug n play factory ones for much less.

only if you do hackjob in reattaching or change the length of wire will you screw with the voltage it receives..... if you do good job resoldering, you may be alright
