Evo thermostat
yes! i actually bought both the evo thermo ($12) and the eclipse ($19) and the evo one is TINY! doesnt fit but the eclipse one i mentioned is a perfect fit and sits flush. it didnt come with the oring seal around it but i reused the ring from the oem one and all is well

YOUR THE MAN. its Saturday and there is nowhere to go get a oem one. i wasnt sure if i blew a head gasket or the thermostat went and without this i wouldnt of made it to work on monday. this one actually runs hotter then the one that was in my car. it actually warms up to proper temp now
car was over heating not consuming coolant and i had to have it towed 60 miles home. i did a comp test and i had 150 on three cyl's and 135 on the last. i was a little scared because i drive 100 miles to work and i need to be at my job on monday because im the boss + have the hardware we need.
ran into the same issue. was at adavance and we looked up for eclipse 3.0, 03 i believe.. and it's just a tad bit taller, but fits fine.. it's also a few degrees cooler.. works great..
