Salvage title or not, have it checked out, mine cleared car fax and had a clear title, after owning for awhile I noticed that the roof had a weird crease in it, after looking at everything closer, I noticed that one side of the car had been repainted, you could find overspray in a couple areas. Unfortunately, by the time I figured all of this out, I had owned the car for too long. At least it drives good and looks good from over five feet away.

 

I'm going to keep looking around and save more money for a bigger down payment. Good things come to those who wait, lets hope thats true. I'm really looking for a EB evo. I think if your going to throw down that amount of cash get what you really want, yea? So its the waiting game for me!

 

Having accidentally bought a car that was wrecked & repaired, I'd say stay away from salvaged cars unless the price is WAY below clean title prices. Anything over 8-9k and I'd say no way.

The problem is.. These cars have such a high demand that theres always some moron willing to pay 14k for a salvaged car thats worth 15k with a clean title..
