Full blown contacted me today to let me know that they now come with the adapter flange. IMHO it will be a waste of time to use this on a stock intake manifold even with the adapter flange. To make the throttle body seal the flange must neck down to a smaller inside diameter, so the 70mm inlet is probably more like 65 when used with the above flange. In this case I would just use a ported stocker as they have been proven to work time and time again.

For anyone using an aftermarket manifold I think this part is a good option. I will even be running it on my car as long as it does not show up with any boost leaks when we test it.

I'm somewhat concerned about the adapter choking things down and possible leaks as well but only time will tell. My upgrade path includes an aftermarket manifold so not all will be lost if its best used that way.

The reason we supply it is so you can port the flange to 65mm or what ever you want. We designed this to be a replacement so you dont have to deal with porting the stock TB and in the future, if you decide to upgrade the IM you are set to do so without having to purchase a bigger TB.

So the real question is, where's the adapter to put one on a Magnus?

i have been having an idle issue and when i pulled out my iac i broke a bolt inside the throttle body putting it back in. i figured i would get a new throttle body because of the idle so would this be a good choice for me? or should i just look for a used one?

If you have a Magnus the Magnus will come with an adapter for a stock throttle body. You can just port the adapter flange.

Also, we offer 70mm throttle body option for our Rev 2 and Rev 3 intake manifolds. We build up the material around the throttle body flange before we port it to insure a perfect seal with using this big of a throttle body.

Any pics?

The hole in the stock tb adapter is offset, if you port it to 70mm it'll overlap the actual Magnus flange

Looked like a well done piece, the machines finishes look very nice too. Casting are a PITA to work with, these guys must've spent alot of time designing this piece/assembly.

I had already ordered one when I posted this thread. Was hoping I hadn't made a bad decision as I didn't really do any research. I'll post my thoughts as well once I get it.

Ordering one this week with a rev3 setup. I'll post a build thread and dyno results. Also ordering your 02 3" delete & long runner.

Just received mine today. Looks sweet. Solid and sturdy construction. It will be a week or two before I get a chance to put it on and get it tuned. Also need to figure out the best way to build up the flange area on the manifold as others have mentioned. There is not enough there to make a good seal with the throttle body. If anybody is interested I can get some pics posted tomorrow morning.
