Really important questions

Ok so i had a thread here a while ago about my idle and vacuum, well i sit at 11InHg and have a funky idle, well i was out cleaning the car today a figured i would try to look at the cams. Well i pulled the oilcap and what i can see printed on the one is

worth
4164

the first parts of these are cut off by a piece under the valve cover.

Can anyone tell me if these are stock or not?

Also a second question is, im on a stock ECU no tune. I am running a COBB sf intake and thats it. Is it ok to be running this without a tune?

I have heard mixed things yes and no, the second half is what if i do have cams. This car is my DD and i dont have the extra money for a tune right now.....

Not sure bout ur cams but try swapping ur stock intake back in and resetting the ecu. Intakes without a tune can make ur idle rough.

Also check for boost leaks if u havent in a while.

Did you just buy this car? I would recommend taking it to a tuner and having them look it over. They should also be able to tell you if the car already has a tune and what mod's are installed.

Yea my friend judging by the vacuum and the fact that the stock cams have nothing really written on them I would say u have a set of aftermarket cams . How long have u had this car?

I know for a fact it is a stock ecu, it had a tune when the dealer got it and they couldnt pass it for NY inspection....So they had to replace the ecu
