I definitely can relate from my experience with DSM's.. FP turbos require a little TLC but are more than worth it in the end.. Great thread.

So i have a 84mm JB Red with FP Oil line, Full Syn Valvoline VR1 with LubroMoly Mos2 additive, K&N oil filter changed ever 3k miles with about 28K worth of DD miles. Seems to still be fine. I dont have the HLA or upgraded oil pan, but I dont road race. I'm guessing I'm fine.

some good info, I had an FP Red on my IX and the turbo had over 20k miles on it when I sold the car, between the previous owner and myself, all at 30 psi and showed no signs of age!
