All three ACD lights on when the car is hot?
Now that the weather is getting hotter, I've noticed when the car sits outside in the sun, all three ACD lights come on when I'm diving. Engine temp has nothing to do with it, just when it sits in the sun (sits in a garage at home and it's not an issue). This started happening like a month ago.
It doesn't seem to be effecting the performance of the car, and if I hit the ACD button it will change (I confirm this next time I start up the car after it's been in the garage).
I was going to try and reset the ECU but haven't done it yet. Anyone else have this? Easy way to fix it? It's an 05 if that matters...

The ACD pump
Here's a good read if you not sure what an ACD Pump is

I actually have seen this with my car the past two days where we were in the 90s...not sure how that is throwing it off, but today we were in the 60s and the lights didn't all come on like they did the previous days.

hi i will try to help out, 3 acd lights means there is a fault with the acd or the abs, fault codes are stored in the acd ecu,
get a paper clip and use it to bridge pins 1&4 on your obd
(diagnostics plug) as you sit in the driver seat its in front of your right knee,
when the paper clip is in place turn the key on (dont start the car)
if there are no faults codes the 3 acd lights will flash rapidly.
and if there is fault codes, the 3 lights will flash slower
for example fault code 65
there will be 6 long flashes slight pause followed by 5 short flashes,
simply count the long flashes as 10 6x10
and the short flashes as 1 5x1 = 65
there may be more than one code.
hopes this helps, frank

For those of you with a Tactrix cable and EvoScan the first part is not needed per say. Thanks to frankmc for the info.

just like other lubricants in it has a temp limit. what ive noticed on my car, is that above 85 degrees when the lights come on the fluid level in the reservoir is much lower due to the system sucking in more fluid to build pressure.
i am not convinced this points to a fault in the pump, since all the way up to 80 degrees ambient temp i can drive all day and have no issue.
im considering dropping it at the dealer so they can do a pressure check, but i want it done under warranty which of course might be a fight.
my fluid has 50k miles on it so it may be worth a shot to do a bleed and change, and im also still trying to find someone who may have used the amsoil sp3 equivalent fluid, which im sure is more heat resistant.
